In “It’s Better Now” from Hebrews 8:1–13, Pastor Jim Renke unpacks the profound truth that Jesus is the high priest of a better covenant—one that is perfect, permanent, and personal. Unlike the old covenant written on stone, this new covenant is written on our hearts. Christ’s once-for-all sacrifice, His heavenly ministry, and His intimate relationship with His people mean that we no longer strive under the weight of law but live in the freedom of grace. This message reminds us that because of Jesus, we now have full access to God, full forgiveness of sins, and full assurance of hope. It truly is better now.
