Village Church of Lincolnshire Podcast

This week Pastor Jim Renke will walk us through Hebrews 6:13-20. In this passage we discover our anchor of hope. That hope is secured in who God is and what Jesus has done. Let’s gather around the Word and discover a hope that encourages us to keep walking with Him.

In this week’s sermon titled "Christ, Our Secure Foundation," Pastor Jim Renke unpacks the sobering and powerful message found in Hebrews 5:11–6:12. As the author of Hebrews warns against spiritual stagnation, this message challenges believers to move beyond the elementary teachings of the faith and press on toward maturity in Christ. Pastor Jim explains how failure to grow can lead to a dangerous spiritual complacency—and potentially to falling away from the faith altogether.

Through clear teaching and pastoral wisdom, we’re reminded that God is faithful, and the surest way to persevere is by staying diligent in our pursuit of Him, bearing fruit, and walking in community. With both warning and hope, this message calls us to take spiritual growth seriously and to build our lives firmly on the secure foundation of Jesus Christ.

Listen in and be encouraged to examine your faith, pursue maturity, and imitate those who endure with faith and patience.
