Village Church of Lincolnshire Podcast

Pastor Jim Renke will share a powerful and hope-filled vision of our eternity with Christ. Heaven and the New Creation are far greater than we often imagine! Come be encouraged, inspired, and energized to live faithfully in the here and now as we look forward to all that God has promised.

Chris Gearhart presents a powerful message on what to do if we have been hurt by the church... which is full of imperfect people who are trying to grow closer to Jesus, who is perfect and will never hurt you. The church of Christ is not defined by the misdeeds of sinful men, but by the work of the perfect Savior who loves you and wants to heal your hurt.

Faith has many challenges. Can God use us if we have questions and even doubts? This Sunday Pastor Jim Renke will lead us in the Word, helping us see how we can handle our doubts in a way that actually strengthens our faith and draws us closer to Him.

This week at Village Church of Lincolnshire, Seth Williams; the Director of Youth & Families, delivered a powerful message about when God seems silent. When prayers go unanswered, when requests seem to fall on silent ears and heaven goes dark... unpack this message with us.

This week, Pastor Jim Renke will be guiding us through the Word to see that our pasts and the memories of past sin don’t have to keep us from moving forward. We can be freed from what we’ve done and we can find the joy of knowing the Lord has redeemed us! Come for a time to be renewed in the grace and mercy of Jesus and set on a path of freedom from the past that may haunt us from time to time.

Is there only one way to heaven? A question that has plagued the conscience of mankind for thousands of years. According to the Bible, there is only one way to heaven, through the person and completed work of Jesus Christ. Watch this sermon to gain some valuable insights on the question, "Is there only one way?"

Jesus is who he is, but the question that changes everything for us is the question Jesus asked his disciples. “Who do you say that I am?” What we believe about the identity and work of Jesus changes lives, families, and communities. This week Pastor Jim will be continuing the Sticking Points series with “Who Was Jesus?” We invite you to come and worship the One who came for us.

Pastor Jim will be leading us through the Scriptures to help us see why there is evil and what God is up to in allowing it. This will be a message where we see the power of God’s love and the hope his grace truly gives us.
