This Sunday’s sermon addresses one of the most offensive passages of Scripture to our modern sensibilities. Matthew 5:38-48 calls us to give Grace when others demand from us, and to offer love to even the most unlovely. Let’s step where few desire to tread and find the path of life in Christ’s light.

This week Pastor Jim Renke will be continuing our look at the Sermon on the Mount. In Matthew 5:31-37, Jesus calls us to complete integrity in our words, promises and actions. Let’s gather and worship the Lord who is a covenant-maker and keeper of his promises.

God can change the way we think about each other as men and women. We find a greater righteousness at work in us when we devote ourselves to see each other as God sees us and value each other as bearers of the imago Dei. It’s not enough not to cheat. We must let the Spirit of God transform our desires and our intentions.

This week, as we gather to worship Pastor Jim Renke will lead us through Matthew 5:21-26. Our witness of Kingdom life becomes reflective of Christ when we step into a life of love, forgiveness and peacemaking.

This Sunday we gather in God’s presence to worship Him. We invite you to lift up the Lord together with gratitude and in great faith. Pastor Jim Renke will be leading us through Matthew 5:17-20. This is the place where Jesus connects his ministry to what went before, while opening up to us a new vision for the future he calls us to.
